While he saw the brightness of light, he decided to cut the hill and drain out the water from the lake. Then he cut with his sword and drained the water out.
Also believed, he brought several workers (those who work JYA YA U PI or JYA YAU FUN, later pronounced JYA YAPU) with him to cut the hill, and they were settled in the valley while it became suitable to habitat, then slowly people started to migrate from different sides and settled in the valley.
Bodhisatwa went and stayed on top of NAGARJUNA, called Jamacho, and later he came and stayed in the western slope ridge of Swayambhu hill, from where the lotus light was coming out.
Mata Tirtha was the administrative (A kind of traditional mastery system) centre of those days. Later, King Yalamber shifted to YALA (Patan or Lalitpur), and he began to rule from there. The surrounding mountains, which offer panoramic views of snowcapped mountains and the spectacular aerial views of the valley.
After the historical unification by Prithivi Narayan Shah, modern Nepal began to take shape. It was continuously stretched at the time of King Ranabahadur Shah.
