The experiences of the day are designed to cultivate a sense of inner peace and spiritual grounding, setting a thoughtful tone for the rest of the journey.

Teachings from resident monks or nuns are included, offering insights into Buddhist philosophy & practices such as loving-kindness (metta) or compassion (karuna) meditation. Without the noise of the outside world, the retreat creates space for profound inner clarity, emotional release, and spiritual grounding. The experience culminates with a closing circle and optional sharing before returning to Kathmandu for the final part of the journey.

With the return to Kathmandu, the journey comes full circle with a renewed sense of mindfulness and inner clarity. After arriving, you settle into a peaceful retreat setting in the capital.
